Optomap

Virginia Eyecare Center is proud to be the first in our state to offer Optomap to our patients. Optomap digitally scans your eye without the need for dilation drops. In the click of a button we have a scan of your retina which we can keep as part of your permanent file. This test can help us determine if your retina is healthy, or can help us identify many retinal pathologies as seen above. Many of these conditions are asymptomatic. It is quick and free from the inconvenience of drops.
